Objective
1. To educate community the importance of blood donation
and how it can SAVE
patients’ life in their community and their nation.
2. Directs people to help each other without racial
discriminations through helping the patients.
3. To generate awareness on Blood Donation and its
significance in saving lives during emergencies.

Donor’s criteria:
Donor is special. This is because not everyone is eligible to become a
blood donor. There are several criteria that justify a person to donate blood. Among
the criteria that are defined as follows:
1. Age between 18 to 60 years old
2. Body weight exceeds 45kg.
3. Sleep more than 5 hours the night before the day of blood
donation.
4. No health problems.
5. Do not take any medicine.
6. Has taken food before donates blood. (Not fasting)
7. Do not engage in any high-risk activities such as:
- Having
relationship with same gender (Homosexual)
- Having
relationship with sex workers
- Taking
drugs
8. Donors have to
exceed at least 3 months to donate the second time.
9. For female donors
- Not
pregnant
- Not
menstruating
10. Do not donate blood if you:
- Live
in United Kingdom (England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Isle of Man or
Channel Island of the Republic of Ireland from 1980 to 1996 for the period of 6
months or more)
- Live
in the continent of Europe from 1980 till the present for a period of 6 months
or more.
