Communication is an essential of productivity but it is complicated too.
Communication is complicated. First of all, communication is not just a simple message transmission; even a simple conversation can be complicated. It can involve multiple messages such as the verbal and nonverbal communication and behavioral aspects, the choice surrounding the transmission channel used the characteristic of the speaker and the audience, the relationship between speaker and the audience, and the situation in which the communication occurs.
The characteristic of the speaker and the audience could create communication barriers during the conversation.
An example I can give for this principle is about a friend of mine who gave a presentation in a class. His nonverbal communication was not good enough to make us understand what he was trying to present to us. His voice was a bit monotonous which made us feel confused. Because of his lack of tones, we could not distinguish which points are important and which are not. Therefore the presentation came off as a bit boring. Even worse, while he was presenting, the class next to ours was too noisy which caused us to be distracted to really listen and understand the presentation because our minds were already turned out from the presentation.
In addition, the relationship between the speaker and the audience is very important in communication. If your first impression of a person is bad, most probably would not talk with that person or whatever they said you will ignore.
Welcome to the 7th Annual Worst Company of America Award 2012.
After enraging their loyal fans for countless of titles, Electronic Arts (EA) has emerged as a finalist, voted to be the worst company in the US for 2012. The Mass Effect debacle would
be one of the many contributing factors to them being voted as such,
aside from the obtaining and subsequent closure of many fan favourite
development companies, low quality pay-to-play content, low quality
games and DRM’s that continuously irk their customers.
In case you didn’t know, the winner will be walking away with the prestigious Golden Poo Award.
EA has a tough competitor though. Bank of America is
EA’s contender for the title, both companies having the same business
ethics – to squeeze every nickel and dime from consumers at every turn.
So, who will be the true victor in causing the most grief to their faithful and loyal patrons?
Will the wrath of gamers worldwide help EA win the award or will Bank
of America take home the award by being responsible for the suffering
of countless of homeless and jobless citizens in the US? Seeing as I’m a
gamer, that’s a really tough choice.
An epic clash in store. If you are interested in being a part of the voting process, feel free to drop a vote at “The Consumerist”. Full list of companies below: Source viaThe Consumerist

Story line
Yat Kin graduated and is prepared to practice in
neurosurgery to become specialist. He takes his work seriously and strictly
follows the rules. His group of medical interns respects him just as much as
they fear him. Yat Kin wanted to fulfill his younger brother, Yat Hong’s wish
to study sports in overseas, who suffers a pair of paralyzed legs. Yat Kin
worked hard and concentrated on his job in order to save enough money and did
not think about relationships at all until he met Chi Yu.
One day, Yat Hong’s
made an accident and he dies, Yat Kin found himself lost in life and his
interns were greatly influenced by his feelings, including Pui Chung, who Yat
Kin had always viewed as a brother and Chi Yu’s younger sister Mei Suet. At Yat
Kin’s toughest time in life, Chi Yu suffers from a severe illness, which may
become a life threatening situation. Chi Yu had been active in searching for a
treatment and her persistent spirit brought Yat Kin back on his feet to support
her.
As a doctor, Yat
Kin supports Chi Yu to take on surgery, but as her boyfriend, he feels
uneasy…
How was it?
The story revolves around the residents and housemen of Mercy
hospital. The way they change the
places in the hospital from neurology to cardiology and etc. may teach you
something new that you would not knowing it if you are not doctor.
I loved the part about all the family ties, it
is touching and you may take it as a reference on your reality life. I like TVB
dramas because they always with productions that spreading the love.
With TVB dramas nowadays, a medical drama is
epic. Perhaps you may like it cause it also focus on romance. This drama is certainly worth a watch if you like romantic in professional settings.
If you do not
understand what I am saying, what are you waiting for?
Go and watch it
yourself!
The Main Cast
Kenneth Ma as Cheung Yat Kin
Tavia Yeung as Fan Chi Yu
Him Law as Yeung Pui Chung
Mandy Wong as Fan Mei Suet
Benjamin Yuen as Benjamin
Nathan Ngai as Yat Hong
Theme song The theme song of the drama, named "Series" sung by Joey Yung. The lyrics is very meaningful.
Personal Review:
This drama is different
compare with previous TVB drama series. In this drama series, I understand that
being a doctor is not an easy task; it is extremely difficult. It is too much
of responsibility. After I finished watching the drama, I respect those doctors
even more.
Being a doctor is not only an occupation, it is like a
responsibility to the entire patient. As a doctor, they do not work standard office
hour i.e. from 9am to 5pm. They may even work 36 hours at one goal as in
accidents or medical incidents happen in every second. To be a successful doctor, he or she not only needs
to study hard and knowledgeable, they must also be able to empathize,
responsible, passion and stay calm especially in critical stage.
In this drama,
I have learnt from Tavia’s long speeches about life that it goes on. No matter
what, if anything happens, just let it pass. It's
so touching and romantic, indeed, especially some parts of the episodes, which made
me tears a lot and learn from lesson at all.
Rendezvous comes from a French word 'Rendez-vous' meaning 'appointment'. Rendezvous Steak Garden is a restaurant with open-concept which serving western and local favorites at a reasonable and affordable price. It is situated at Jalan Kampung Pandan, next to Chateau De Caffeinees. The atmosphere here is quite romantic and comfortable. You can choose to sit either under a tree, in a swing, in open area or even inside a huge bird cage.
Here are some scenes that I captured:
A stage near the main gate.
Open area.
Roofed area.
Huge bird cage area.
A big fountain located in the middle of the garden.
Swing area.
It is a perfect place for casual gathering with families and friends or even birthdays celebration. Due to the steak house located beside the main road, therefore they provide sufficient parking space for customers.
This is my very first time to this steak house and I heard that it is quite famous. So my friends decided to bring me here for good food. When we arrived, it is still early; the Sun is still there, so it is quite bright. When it is night time, all the lights turn on. It looks much nicer. There have variety choices for food, all looked delicious. For the first time, I ordered Fried Cheesy Chicken and Lemon Blue.
The Sun is going to change shift.
Here are the foods we ordered:
Fried Cheesy Chicken @ RM12.80
Grilled Cheese Chicken @ RM12.80
Flambe Cognac Chicken @ RM17.80
Chicken Maryland @ RM12.80
Lemon Fish @ RM10.80
If you are run out of idea where to find cheap and delicious western food, I think this is one of the places to be considered. They do not accept any reservation in the restaurant as they do first come-first serve basis.
Here is the location of Rendezvous Steak Garden.

GameAxis is a prominent MultiPlatform Video Gaming Magazine published in Malaysia and Singapore. Collaborating with KDU's new Video Gaming Development courses and other prominent companies such as TM Unifi, Cubizone, SONY Computer Entertainment and Evernew.
By their powers combine, GameAxis Versus was born. Versus was held on Sunway Pyramid for two days. (23rd March and 24th March).
According to KDU, their aim of the event is to have fun and to push their new game development courses.
Major companies such as Cubizone, promoted their newly launched expansion for Forsaken World, Sky Age. However, only the showcase of the game was available, gamers were not allowed to try the game on the spot which most people will find it quite disappointing.
Author's Professional View on the Event
On the surface, the event looks grand. The amount of people flocking around the floor attracted more crowds.
On a gamers' perspective this event is completely perfect. What can you
ask for more, seriously? There are prizes to be won for free. There are
enough games, not to mention most of them are the latest game available
in the market for their own genre.
There is FIFA 12, Tekken Vs Street Fighter, Sky Age, COD: Modern Warfare: PRO MOD and it's all free.
This is a gamer's heaven.
How about the other major companies? Well, to put it bluntly. They can
hang themselves for the poor respond of the crowd due to their attention
being shifted to all the awesome video games.
Now, on the in-depth coverage side, major companies that involves in
product sales suffered a great blow on sales due to poor respond of the
crowd.
According to Wong, a Unifi authorized sales personel, mentioned that the
crowd is massive, however, most of them are only interested on the game
only.
Selling is not really advisable during an event, especially if the event
is free. It just defeat the purpose of the free event itself.

Review:
This is an 18++ movie but it is not contained any sexual or violence scene.
The movie is talking about an unemployment and newly divorced woman named Stephanie Plum. She is working with her cousin who run for a bail-bond business. And her first task is puts herself in to a trail on a wanted local cop named Joe Morelli who was her past lover.
During the trail, she learnt something such as self-protection, how to deal with with the people and etc. Morelli was innocent and he asked Stephanie to help him out. They work together and finally they caught the murderer who are the fitness trainer named Jimmy Alpha and run a business in town.
This is not considered as an excited and romantic movie but it is talking about the story that really closed to the reality life. Yes, we cannot survive without the money. If we are unemployment, we could not pay the bills, the loans and other personal stuffs.
Besides that, the movie also delivered some advise which is we cannot judge the person with our anger and our point of view. Sometimes we have to see the whole situation and understand what is going on with the person and the things.
After watched the movie, we can realized that family love is always there. No matter how worst the Stephanie is, her family members are always be with her. They were helped her to find out the solution, care about her and supported her decision.
